# SGL Machines — Overview

> On-demand cloud compute instances on the Singularity network — deploy in minutes, pay per hour in crypto.

**SGL Machines** are on-demand cloud compute instances. Pick a server from the catalog, deploy it in minutes, and pay by the hour — in crypto, no account required.

## What you get

* **A real instance** — CPU/RAM/storage from the catalog, with an OS image of your choice.
* **SSH access** — connect with your own key (BYOK) or a generated one; retrieve a one-time root password when needed.
* **Pay per hour** — credits or x402 USDC. Extend or destroy anytime.
